| Sunday Sets at the Floating World |

I'm always super happy working with Capt. Gordon and I ended up DJing his ritual on Sunday. I would have normally drummed live for it but I found out about it on Sat so I live DJed it. Since I needed to be sync'ed with the ritual I was able to live edit the drumming tracks on my laptop to get everything at the right increasing tempo and lining up the quiet spots and transitions with the parts of the ritual.
I was starting to get pretty tired and by the end of the night I could barely keep from falling asleep. I was playing any and all requests which explains the Lady Gaga tracks :)

I really hit my stride on Sat! Highlights included a bunch of people running through the space in monkey masks after "Charlton Heston" while a woman dressed as the Statue of Liberty stood by. Of course I had music for that :)

| Setlist from Opening Night (Friday) at The Floating World |

I got down the day before and did all of the setup and got as much sleep as I could before doing this 11 hour straight set. It starts off with a lot of quieter tracks that were background music during the day before the lights went off at 9pm. After ramping up the tempo I tested the waters with a little bit of everything before trying out arcs of Industrial, Techno, Metal, and finishing with a set where the titles told a story :)
I took a lot of requests for specific tracks as well as general themes that became some of the arcs. After a while of getting "play some more Enya" I just reached in and grabbed a random Enya track and hit play, don't ask what I played as I don't really care :P

| Sound and DJing at The Floating World |

Whew! That was a lot of work but it was worth it! It was one big single system so I did the whole thing live :) Sets started during the day and went to 4am on Friday and Sat and ended at 2am on Sun. Daytime music was quieter and more background and the nighttime sets were broken down into arcs so I could keep sane. Since there was 1200 people of all ages and tastes I needed to spin a wide range of tracks. Longest continuous set was 11 hours, good thing the bathroom was close to the decks!

It was a really great night spinning again up in ManchVegas with DJ Rabid Angel. It was music for modern primitives so my set was heavy on the drumming. I mixed it up with some mashups and some random stuff I wanted te hear :)

| Setlist for Gladesmore Party - London |

Had a blast DJing a party at the flat where I was staying in London last week. Imagine Dada-ist artists, monster fur covered crosses and hulahoops and you will get the picture :) Second half of the party was a blues dance that spontaneously happened after the Ruthie Foster track. Everyone was all "who is that, play more of that kind of music" and that was it :)
